| Denny has been a part of Coles County Dragway USA from its inception and has innovated many things to include the originator of the "Emergency Action
Plan" that many Tracks around NHRA & surrounding area still use today.
Denny has a long history here at CCD, starting behind the mic in the tower in the 80’s when his brother-in-law didn't have anyone to announce.
He became the backbone of the safety and tech group that has led to the continuance of CCD remaining one of the tracks that is still known for it’s high quality of
cars, safety and rules being the standard. His technical work wasn’t limited to CCD or to NHRA Division 3 as he has spent many weekends not only at divisional
races, but national events all across the country. CCD has had the privilege of working with this man for many years, and his footprint will always remain here
for years to come.
