Dragway USA for many years from a trusted & respected worker to a
feared Racer!
Like many in the long line of families here at CCD, Jim was a second generation racer whose kids would become 3rd generation racer. His
father was a regular during the Rolling Thunder days. Jim became a mainstay during the 1980’s and 90’s, before getting his kids into the sport and was a big part
of our early years in the Jr. Dragster starting in the mid 90’s as the Jr's were developing. Always there to help any and all of us during that first decade, when
he took over the job as class/parent group director he turned it into what you see today, with sponsors and weekly prizes. The Jr racers of today will always be
indebted for the place they are at because of the things Jim accomplished, as well as the support in the early years for what has become the Midwest Jr Super Series.
His father left us too early, and he himself battled health issues that would ultimately take him as well….
